Mad Max — Demolition Show

A destruction and endurance showcase with vehicles of every size, inside the Iron Crash 2026 arena.

Costumed vehicles and performers in the Mad Max show

Not a race. Destruction, endurance and spectacle.

There is no contest for speed, finishing position or lap count. What counts is each vehicle keeping running, and the quality of the show the drivers put on. It is a controlled spectacle, within the event safety rules.

By invitation only

Want to be in the arena?

Mad Max places are by invitation from the organisation. There is no online sign-up: the final count depends on confirmations, technical inspection and approval of the selected vehicles and drivers.

If you want to put yourself forward, talk directly to the organisation on WhatsApp or by email to negotiate taking part.

Have ready: photos and details of the vehicle (type, size, condition) and the driver experience. Every vehicle needs prior approval and passes inspection before entering the arena.

Official document

The full explanation of the attraction, as the organisation defined it.

For now this document exists only in Portuguese. The Japanese version will be published here as soon as it is ready.

How it works

  • The organisation expects 7 or 8 vehicles. The final number depends on confirmations, inspection and approval of the participants.
  • About 1 hour in total: 12 minutes of entry and inspection, 40 minutes of actual destruction and 8 minutes to clear the arena.
  • Everything happens inside the arena, with entry, positioning, a safety check and briefing before the start.

Eligible vehicles

  • There is no limit on size or category.
  • Small, medium and large cars, vans, pickups, trucks and other special vehicles can take part.
  • Every vehicle must be approved by the organisation beforehand.

No vehicle enters the arena with sharp parts, dangerous structures or modifications that increase the risk of injury.

How the winner is decided

The main goal is to see which vehicle keeps running and holds out until the end of the show.

  • If only one vehicle is still running at the end, it may be declared the winner.
  • If more than one is still running, or if none breaks down completely, the winner is chosen by the crowd — by applause, public reaction or another method set by the organisation and the announcer.

The crowd decides on:

  • The biggest spectacle and presence in the arena.
  • The best impacts and destruction manoeuvres.
  • The greatest ability to fire up and involve the crowd.
  • Courage, skill and control shown by the driver.

Mad Max Trophy — Iron Crash 2026: awarded to whoever delivers the greatest spectacle of the show.

Inside the arena

  • Vehicles enter only after clearance from race control and the safety team.
  • The show starts once every participant is in position and the arena is confirmed clear.
  • Drivers obey flags, marshal signals, the official announcer and arena control immediately.
  • A vehicle can be pulled from the show when it is immobilised, poses a risk or needs assistance.

Mandatory safety

  • Fully comply with the technical and safety rulebook handed out beforehand by the organisation.
  • Wear all required protective equipment throughout the show.
  • Vehicles are inspected before entering the arena.
  • Any deliberate action against marshals, staff, the rescue team, event structures or the public area is forbidden.

The safety of drivers, crowd and staff takes priority over continuing the show.

When the show stops

Control may stop the show at any moment, mainly in these situations:

  • A rollover, or a vehicle in a dangerous position.
  • Fire, the start of a fire, or a fuel leak.
  • A driver feeling unwell or asking for assistance.
  • The rescue team, a crane or mechanical support entering the arena.
  • Any risk identified by the organisation.

The show resumes only after official clearance from the safety team and arena control.

The organisation has the final word

All decisions by arena control, marshals, the safety team and the Iron Crash organisation are final. The organisation may change the number of vehicles, bar vehicles that break the rules, stop or end the show, disqualify participants for dangerous behaviour and adapt the format for safety or operational reasons.
